The North Melbourne match committee has resisted the urge to bring Hamish McIntosh into the side for the club’s all-important clash with St Kilda on Saturday night.

McIntosh will only have one final opportunity to break into the side in 2011 if the Kangaroos are unsuccessful against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium. However, if they win and some other results go the right way, the 203 centimetre giant may find himself playing some finals football.

It means Todd Goldstein will be left to battle it out in the ruck alone once again against Ben McEvoy.
Jack Ziebell has been cleared to play after recovering well from a chest injury which saw him subbed off early in the 98-point thrashing of Fremantle last week.
Ben Ross and Cam Richardson have also been placed on the emergency list with both playing well in the VFL recently.
