During the week of March 16 – March 22, workers are encouraged to organise multicultural lunches with their colleagues at work or at locally participating restaurants. On Friday, March 20, North Melbourne players will be attending lunches of participating workplaces to help celebrate the occasion
North’s CEO Eugene Arocca said that the club was very proud to participate in A Taste of Harmony, which is an initiative of the Scanlon Foundation and supported by the Australian Multicultural Foundation.
"We are a club located in an area with a rich history of multicultural engagement and as such, we are very keen to support the Scanlon Foundation and Australian Multicultural Foundation with what we consider to be a fantastic campaign," Arocca said.
"A Taste of Harmony is a practical way to encourage cultural diversity in the workplace and our players are very keen to be a part of what promises to be a great way to celebrate and recognise that diversity. I encourage all workplaces to register and support this great initiative."
