A disappointing performance on-field against the Western Bulldogs has been reflected in North Melbourne's individual Dream Team scores for Round 7.

Only two players posted triple figures; Liam Anthony and Scott Thompson.

Thompson's stellar run of form has started to translate to the Dream Team world. In the last four weeks he has posted three scores above 85 to drive his price over the $350,000 mark. With a relatively low break-even this week (40), his value is set to rise even further.

Among the Kangaroos’ most-consistent performers, Thompson’s average of 88 over the last month was among the top 10 for defenders in the league, with the added bonus of him being at a much more affordable price than the likes of Matt Suckling and Brent Guerra.

Hamish McIntosh left the field with a knee injury against the Bulldogs, scoring only 66 points. Depending on the severity of the injury, it could be a perfect opportunity for coaches to trade in Todd Goldstein.

Now bottomed out in price at approximately $350,000, Goldstein will hope to get back to posting the scores that made him one of the best ruckmen in the competition in 2011, particularly if he’s without his partner-in-crime.

Youngster Cam Delaney has now played two games, meaning he's right on the cusp of increasing in value by a significant amount. With the ‘cash cows’ from the start of the season now nearing their peak in terms of value, the younger Delaney brother could be a unique downgrade option, presuming he keeps his spot in the Kangaroos’ side.

Brent Harvey had a relatively quiet game by his standards with the close tag of Liam Picken. It’s now four weeks in a row the former captain has failed to score over 80. However, in two games against Port Adelaide in 2011, he kicked a total of six goals. If he maintains that goal-scoring output on Saturday, and increases his disposal numbers he’ll see a rapid rise in his Dream Team tally.

By the same token, Drew Petrie enjoyed a day out against the Power at AAMI Stadium last season. His nine contested marks that afternoon were just one short of the all-time record held by Wayne Carey. Petrie will be looking forward to making the trek interstate as he looks for a return to his best form.
