That’s the opportunity a select group of young girls will have as members of North Melbourne’s Girls Academy.
Following on from the success of last year’s academy, females aged between 9 and 14 will learn on-field skills from experienced coaches and players from the Melbourne University Women’s Football Club, as well as Kangaroo Cam Pedersen, the 2012 Girls Academy ambassador.
The girls will have the chance to hone their skills, learn about leadership, nutrition and participate in many more important off-field lessons.
The academy is free but places are limited. Get in quick to make sure you’re at the first training session on May 2.
