While there was no doubts surrounding the inclusion of Jack Ziebell in North Melbourne's team, Luke Delaney's return in place of his brother Cam was more surprising.

The younger sibling was impressive on debut against the Giants, prompting many to call for a NAB Rising Star nomination, but he'll be forced to watch on as an emergency against the bigger bodies of Geelong.

Luke Delaney was among the Roosters' best in their win over Collingwood in defence, keeping his opponent to just five disposals for the day.

After making his debut on Brisbane champion Jonathan Brown last year, Delaney played eight games for the season.

As expected, Ziebell slots straight back into the team after serving his three-week suspension. The co vice-captain joins Ben Cunnington, Kieran Harper and Aaron Edwards on the interchange bench.

Aaron Mullett is the other unlucky omission, while Ben Warren has also been named as an emergency.
