In the Interactive Team of the Week video, senior coach Brad Scott described Sierakowski's performances at VFL level as consistent.
"It's only a matter of time until he makes his debut. He comes into our squad, a really versatile player, can play half-back, wing, a very precise kick of the footy," Scott added.
Cruize Garlett's strong form in the VFL, including 35 touches for North Ballarat on Saturday, earned him a recall.
"Cruize is one of the players in terrific form so eventually he has to be rewarded for that. He's been really dominant for North Ballarat so it's good for him to come back into the squad.
"His workrate is second-to-none. He's playing really good footy because he's working really hard."
Matt Campbell, out of the side since North played Sydney in Round 4, has been named on the extended interchange.
"He had a terrific game; 29 possessions in the midfield for North Ballarat. We know what he brings to our side, some genuine speed and excitement and a real ground-level presence for us.
"While our key forwards played well for us last week we're looking to strengthen our ground-level area."
