There have been various special visitors who have dropped by The Huddle in recent times and the club was thrilled to welcome another prominent and passionate North Melbourne supporter, the Honourable Kate Lundy, Minister for Sport and Minister for Multicultural Affairs on Monday.

Minister Lundy met with Eugene Arocca and Drew Petrie for a special guided tour of North Melbourne’s state of the art Aegis Park training facilities.

Particularly impressed by the club’s one of a kind initiative The Huddle, which was hosting grade five students from Holy Rosary Primary School at the time, Minister Lundy explained government officials often use North Melbourne as an example of an elite sporting organisation that is leading the way with multicultural programs and community engagement.

Petrie presented the Minister with a special team signed guernsey in appreciation of her kind support which began back in 1977 after North Melbourne won its second premiership.
