North Melbourne today announced a three-year extension of its existing partnership with McDonald’s Australia - a long-standing partner of the AFL industry.

Primarily focused in Tasmania, the partnership will support Tasmanian AFL fans through exciting digital and match day activations including the famous Macca’s Kick-2-Kick Program.

McDonald’s Australia Market Director, Southern Region, Brad McMullen, said the partnership with North is an extension of its work in the community.

“At Macca’s, supporting the communities we operate in is at the core of our values. We’re proud to be further supporting the North Melbourne Football Club, which does a tremendous job within its communities across both Victoria and Tasmania,” McMullen said.

North CEO, Ben Amarfio, is looking forward to building upon the existing work with McDonald’s and its licensees across the southernmost state.

“We are incredibly appreciative and thrilled to be continuing our work with McDonald’s, and we are thankful for its ongoing support in these extremely challenging times,” Amarfio said.

“The Tasmanian community is really important to us and McDonald’s, and we can’t wait to resume playing games there soon.”
