Brisbane will wait until later in the week to confirm the availability of exciting forward Charlie Cameron, for the clash against North Melbourne.

Cameron landed awkwardly after a marking attempt during the Lions' win over the Western Bulldogs, but has been cleared of serious injury.

"He’s pulled up well. Obviously he went back on the ground doing the fitness test, but there doesn’t seem to be any structural damage from his scans," Brisbane High Performance Manager Damien Austin told the club's website.

"There’s a little bit of swelling there ... he also rolled his ankle in that incident, but we expect we’ll get him trotting tomorrow and see how he is later in the week to train."

Cameron has the benefit of a seven-day break between games, and after 15 goals in 11 matches, will be eager to take his place on Saturday night.
