RELATED: Crocker escapes well, $7.5k donated

------------

North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos' AFLW coach Darren Crocker and the club will be throwing their support behind the "Neil's Wheel" initiative on Friday.

Crocker will ride the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel until he can raise a minimum of $5,000 in donations for the Good Friday Appeal.

3AW and Neil Mitchell will host the 'Escape From Neil's Wheel' fundraiser, with all donations going towards providing valuable equipment for the hospital.

This year's event will kick off on Friday morning, with Crocker taking to the wheel at 9.30am AEDT.

Keep an eye on the stories section of our AFLW Instagram page for updates.

North will host the annual Kick for the Kids game against the Western Bulldogs in Round 3.

Where does the money go?

Thanks to the generous support of Neil's Wheel participants, The Royal Children's Hospital will soon have access to two new ultrasound machines which will advance the care of patients. The new ultrasound machines will have superior imaging quality, with 3D and 4D scans now possible. This means that procedure times for patients will be reduced and clinicians will have greater visibility into the inner workings of patients.
