North Melbourne selected West Australian small forward Robert Hansen jnr with pick No.2 in the AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft.
Originally from Kalgoorlie almost 600km east of Perth, Hansen jnr arrived at Arden Street via Subiaco in the WAFL.
North Melbourne debut: Round 20, 2023
2023: Two months after being taken in the mid-season draft, Hansen jnr made his AFL debut against the Eagles in Round 20.
His form in the build-up to his first senior appearance was eye-catching as he kicked seven goals from six games to raise his hand for an early call-up.
2024 will be the silky forward's first taste of an AFL pre-season, a period that will do wonders for another one of the club's youngsters looking to make an impact in the early stages of his career.
