A 197cm youngster with a basketball background, Maley possesses plenty of raw potential that the Kangaroos are keen on developing, whether that be in the forward line, ruck, or a mix of the two.

Maley began to attract interest from recruiters in 2022 when he earned Northern League Division 2 Team of the Year honours after just 14 games with Eltham.

He was then picked up by VFL club Northern Bullants, for whom he featured 13 times this season, before returning to Eltham to play a massive role in the club's finals series as a high-flying forward.
