Howe arrives at Arden Street as the 33rd selection of the 2022 Rookie Draft.
A versatile player with the ability to play a lockdown role both through the midfield and in defence, Howe registered 96 games over eight years for Hawthorn after being drafted in the second round of the 2014 draft.
Howe enjoyed his most productive season in 2021, playing 20 games under the now North Melbourne senior coach, Alastair Clarkson.
2022: Making sporadic appearances throughout the year, Howe featured nine times averaging 13.8 disposals and 4.4 marks per game.
The midfielder finished on a high, however, gathering a season-best 24 touches along with seven grabs against the Dogs in Round 23.
With plenty of young guns coming into the club, Howe at 26 years old will fill an important void on the Kangaroos' list.
