A genuine ruck with existing experience in senior women’s football, Grace Matser will come to Arden Street as the tallest player on the Kangaroos’ list alongside Emma King. The selection of Matser means the Kangaroos have selected a player from Collingwood’s VFLW program with pick 51 two seasons in a row after the recruitment of Jas Ferguson last year.

Matser offers a point of difference at the stoppage by going up for the bounce with her left hand which can be a dangerous weapon for her midfield group. With a good running tank and strong fundamental skills, Matser has the ability to cover a huge amount of ground during the game and will offer strong support behind the club’s existing ruck stocks.
