The North Melbourne Kangaroos will tune up for the 2022 AFL season with a practice match at home to reigning premiers Melbourne, before heading to Sydney for an AAMI Community Series clash with the Swans.
The club's Community Series match will be the second in a double header at GIANTS Stadium on Sunday, March 6, at 4.20pm AEDT.
The match will follow an earlier game at the same venue between Collingwood and the GWS GIANTS.
The Kangaroos' practice match against the Demons will take place on one of the last two weekends in February. Dates, times and venue are still to be confirmed for that match-up, with the clubs also yet to decide the format of the game including number of players, number of quarters and quarter length. The AFL has advised all clubs will have a minimum seven-day break between pre-season practice matches and the AAMI Community Series.
Ticketing arrangements for the 2022 AAMI Community Series match will be confirmed closer to the date. All Community Series matches will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo.
