North Melbourne has capped off a strong pre-season training camp in Noosa with a third and final session at Maroochydore Multi Sports Complex in Queensland.

Energy remained high on Tuesday as the Roos launched into match simulation, doing so for the first time on camp under overcast skies following a heavy morning downpour.

Jy Simpkin started well, owning his wing. He delivered a crisp, pinpoint pass inside 50 to captain Nick Larkey and continuously used his running power to get back to help on defence.

Caleb Daniel was active in the backline, as was Cooper Harvey who looked poised when using the ball off half-back.

2025 mid-season draft picks Cooper Trembath and Zac Banch both had exciting moments. Trembath was strong aerially and slotted a terrific snap on the run, while Banch repeatedly found space at half-forward, working as a link-up player.

Veteran forward Jack Darling presented well and reined in a couple of grabs under pressure, while Robert Hansen jnr was also lively, applying the pressure throughout the session. He got some reward for effort when Zane Duursma cleverly tapped the ball along the ground to Larkey who found Hansen jnr for a major.

Taylor Goad and Callum Coleman-Jones did most of the ruck work against each other, with Tristan Xerri playing as a deep forward at stages.

Second-year young gun Finn O'Sullivan saw plenty of time in the midfield. He was dangerous with ball in hand, lacing out a pass to Paul Curtis who made no mistake from a set shot.

Josh Goater, Jackson Archer, Colby McKercher, Hugo Mikunda, Aidan Corr, Charlie Spargo, Brayden George and Cam Zurhaar didn't participate in the match sim.
