Mia King played the best game of her young career in Sunday’s win over Carlton, and has been rewarded with a perfect 10 AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award votes.

King played an integral part in the five-goal win, holding down the midfield in a tight, frantic contest before the Kangaroos broke away from the home side in the second half.

Nominated for the NAB AFLW Rising Star for her performance in Round 1, King finished with 25 disposals, four clearances and a game-high five tackles against the Blues.

Ash Riddell continued her stellar campaign and was awarded seven votes for her 30 disposals and four clearances.

Ash Riddell is currently leading the race for AFLCA Champion Player of the Year, with 32 votes after four rounds.

Fellow midfielder Jenna Bruton was also awarded seven votes, after racking up 28 touches and four tackles of her own against the Blues.
