North's selection dilemmas have taken yet another twist this week with all the pressure now on the 22 that took the field against the Magpies.

A 117-point loss means everyone's spot could be up for grabs and it was evident on the training track with the players attacking the ball fiercely in a bid to get first hands on the footy.

It's sure to be an interesting week at the selection table with all the focus around finding a winning formula.

A bye for VFL affiliate North Ballarat has allowed its aligned players a week's rest, and the likes of rookie Marcus White and the hard-working Cameron Richardson could be in the mix with fresh legs.

Ben Cunnington was also given a rest and could come into consideration, as will midfielder Cruize Garlett.

The Kangaroos' options don't end there though. Werribee has a bye this week and Ben Ross, Ben Speight and Jamie Macmillan were all prominent as were forwards Ben McKinley and Ben Warren, while Robbie Tarrant's versatility makes him a chance to play at both ends of the ground.
