Saturday’s Round 10 clash with West Coast will determine whether the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos start their AFLW finals campaign on home turf, but Nicole Bresnehan says the team isn't looking beyond beating the Eagles.

"It’s really important we focus solely on this game [and] getting those four points," Bresnehan told North Media.

"This weekend is really important coming into finals, [but] each week ‘Crock’ has mentioned we need to take each game as it comes.

"Hopefully [we can] put in a really solid performance and drive some confidence into finals."

Making her name as a quiet-achieving half-back flanker, Bresnehan has moved higher up the ground this season and spent most of the campaign on the wing.

She says she’s embraced the change of position as the season has progressed.

"I’ve really enjoyed playing in that slightly different role … I saw it as a bit of an opportunity," she said.

"I’ve got a great midfield to learn off, [and] ‘Kashy’ (Kaitlyn Ashmore) and Bella (Eddey) play that role nicely. It’s been great learning off of those guys."
