Nick Larkey has polled the maximum 10 coaches' votes for his performance against West Coast, with senior coaches David Noble and Adam Simpson agreeing the key forward was the best afield on Sunday afternoon.

Larkey kicked six goals from nine scoring shots as he capitalised on the opportunities provided by his midfield against a makeshift Eagles defence.

He also finished with 16 disposals and seven marks.

Hugh Greenwood ran the middle of the ground against the Eagles, with his brilliant display of contested football seeing him awarded with six votes.

The first-year Kangaroo finished with a tied game-high 29 disposals, as well as a game-high nine clearances.

Aaron Hall rounded out the votes received by North players, earning one vote for his 26-disposal effort out of the back half of the ground.
