The tough run of fixtures continues for the North Melbourne Kangaroos this week, as they travel up the highway to face an in-form Geelong side at GMHBA Stadium.

A good first quarter against the Crows showed some promising signs, but, once again, a solid four-quarter performance eluded North Melbourne last weekend.

The Cattery has not been a happy hunting ground in recent years for the Kangaroos, with Geelong emerging victorious in four of the last five clashes at the venue, with the Roos winning by 16 points in Round 4, 2015 behind a brilliant Todd Goldstein performance.

Saturday, July 2
Geelong Cats v North Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium, 7.25pm AEST

North Melbourne has endured a difficult time in 2022, however last week's debut to father-son draftee Jackson Archer indicates a hopeful future for this young list.

Finishing the game with 15 disposals, Archer displayed class and poise, plus all the competitiveness that his father was also known for in defence.

Geelong will enter this game high on confidence having not only won their last five fixtures, but registering an exceptional come-from-behind victory against Richmond last week.

Young forward Jack Henry kicked a goal in the final minutes of the game to destroy all hopes of a Tigers fightback after they came from six goals down to lead during the final term.
