The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have made two changes for their bout with the Western Bulldogs at the Swinburne Centre on Friday afternoon.

Amy Smith will make her return to action after missing last week due to concussion.

The winger has progressed through concussion protocols and will reclaim her spot on the wing.

Also included in the starting team is young forward Sophia McCarthy who was a late out in Round 4 (managed).

McCarthy made her debut for the club back in Round 1 and impressed with her strong ability to mark and convert opportunities in front of goal.

Making way for the additions will be the omitted pairing of Ella Maurer and Dani Hardiman.

Maurer made her AFLW debut in the royal blue and white as the late inclusion for McCarthy last week, while Hardiman also featured for the first time in Season 7 against Geelong after recovering from a knee injury, but will miss out on the Round 5 clash.

Hardiman, Maurer and Zoe Savarirayan have been named as the emergencies, and should no changes be made prior to the bounce, they will all take part in a scratch match alongside Perri King, Hannah Bowey, Charli Granville and Grace Matser.
