North’s CEO & Managing Director, Carl Dilena will be in a spin tomorrow as he tries to raise crucial funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Dilena and other high profile people will take over the Melbourne Star Giant Observation Wheel, trapped 120 metres off the ground. The only way to get down is by raising $10,000 or more.

An initiative of 3AW’s Neil Mitchell, the money raised will fund the establishment of a Point-Of-Care Ultrasound Program (POCUS).

The POCUS Program will see a clinician manage an ultrasound, rather than a medical imaging specialist.

Research shows that this can hasten clinical diagnosis, improve procedural success, make invasive procedures less painful, and increase patient satisfaction.

So if you want to get the CEO back to doing what he does best, running the club, make a donation now.

Dilena will be on the wheel from 10am on Friday morning, so listen to 3AW and follow the club’s social media channels, but more importantly, be sure to donate.
