The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos will kick off their 2023 campaign in Hobart, after the fixture for the upcoming AFLW season was revealed today.

The Kangaroos’ season opener against St Kilda at Blundstone Arena is one of two home games they will play in Tasmania this season, with the second coming in Round 4 against the Brisbane Lions at UTAS Stadium in Launceston.

Fans will have the opportunity to watch the Kangaroos six times in Victoria, including three homes games at Arden St Oval against Carlton (Round 2), the GWS Giants (Round 5) and Port Adelaide (Round 7).

The Kangaroos’ other three Victorian games include a trip down the highway to face the Geelong Cats at GMHBA Stadium in Round 3, an opportunity to avenge last year's preliminary final loss against reigning premiers Melbourne under the lights at IKON Park in Round 8, and a final round clash with the Western Bulldogs at Whitten Oval. 

The team will also make two interstate trips in the second half of the season, travelling to Perth for the first time since 2019 to face Fremantle at Fremantle Oval in Round 6 and to Adelaide to take on the Crows at Unley Oval in Round 9.
