North Melbourne has recalled five emerging youngsters to its 26-man squad for Sunday’s clash against St Kilda.

Midfielders Paul Ahern, Luke Davies-Uniacke and Declan Mountford have been named on an extended bench, alongside defenders Tom Murphy and Ben McKay.

Ahern was rested from the Roos’ side that fell to Adelaide last week, but could be set for a recall.

Davies-Uniacke has enjoyed a taste of senior football this year, with seven games under his belt, and would be keen for another opportunity after some good form at VFL level.

Murphy has played four games in his debut season, while McKay and Mountford will be hopeful of returning for their first AFL appearances of 2018.

As confirmed earlier in the week, Will Walker will be sidelined with a knee injury, but is set to be ready for the first day of pre-season.
