North Melbourne has signed former Sydney Swans key defender Toby Pink as a delisted free agent.

Pink, 25, joins the Kangaroos from Glenelg where helped the SANFL side to the 2023 premiership.

A dominant season also saw the 194cm backman named in the SANFL Team of the Year.

Pink spent three seasons on the Swans’ rookie list after being initially drafted as a key forward.

The defender is no stranger to Arden Street, having been signed to the Roos’ VFL team ahead of the COVID-cancelled 2020 season.

Head of football talent Brady Rawlings welcomed Pink to North Melbourne, saying that he’s worked hard to win another opportunity at AFL level.

“We’ve tracked Toby really closely, especially over the past 12 months,” Rawlings said.

“He was the dominant defender in Glenelg’s premiership run all season and he played a big role in helping them achieve their success.

“It’s been a long time since Toby was in the AFL system but he’s clearly worked hard on all aspects of his game – he’s really earned this chance.”
