Young forward Jacob Konstanty is among five new Roos who will make their North Melbourne debuts in Saturday night's season opener against the Western Bulldogs.
Konstanty, who joined North Melbourne from Sydney during the 2024 AFL Trade Period, was named on the interchange bench in the Kangaroos' Round 1 team.

He learned the news on Thursday from his former captain at the Swans, Luke Parker, who arrived at Arden St in the same trade deal.
Parker has also been selected to play his first game as a Kangaroo at Marvel Stadium, alongside fellow experienced recruits Caleb Daniel and Jack Darling, and prized draftee Finn O'Sullivan, whose debut was revealed on Tuesday.
Spearhead faces fitness test
North Melbourne star forward Nick Larkey could face a match-day fitness test to determine if he plays against the Western Bulldogs.
Larkey, a four-time leading goalkicker at the Kangaroos, missed Thursday training because of a corked thigh.
North coach Alastair Clarkson is "pretty confident" the 26-year-old will pass a fitness test, which could be delayed until Saturday morning ahead of that night's Marvel Stadium encounter.
"We didn't want to train him today, just to allow that (injury) to settle down a little bit," Clarkson told reporters.
"We're hoping he is going to be as good as gold by the weekend.
"Not ideal, but he has had a great summer and that is why I will give him every chance to be able to play.
"We just need to determine if it (the fitness test) is tomorrow or Saturday, but we're pretty confident, and so is he, that he's going to be able to play.
"We just want to see him at full stretch and see that he's okay to get through a game of footy."

A small forward known for his defensive pressure and aggressive game style, Konstanty has been named on North Melbourne's interchange bench for Saturday night, alongside 150-gamer Darcy Tucker, Will Phillips, Robert Hansen jnr and Luke McDonald.
"He's had a really, really good summer," Clarkson said of Konstanty at Arden St on Thursday.
"He had some surgery at the end of last year on a foot, and so he didn't do as much as the other players in the lead-up to Christmas, but he hasn't put a step wrong in the time since."
Clarkson expects Roo fans to "fall in love" with Finn O'Sullivan, who will make his AFL debut after being taken with pick two at last year's draft.
"Hopefully our fans can see another young player coming through who hopefully they can track for another 10 or 12 years," Clarkson said of the 18-year-old midfielder.
"He has got real good composure with the ball in hand and knows how to find it.
"Wiry is probably the description of his body build at the moment, but despite him being so wiry he has got pretty good strength through his hips and is hard to tackle.
"That composure and capacity to stay on his feet and see what is going on in a game, he just looks like he has got a lot of time with the ball.
"I'm sure once he starts playing some games, our fans will pretty quickly fall in love with him, if they haven't already done so."
Darling and Parker will pull on the royal blue and white stripes for the first time after playing 298 and 293 games for West Coast and Sydney, respectively.
Daniel’s debut as a Roo will also mark his first encounter with his former club after playing 192 games for the Bulldogs.
Saturday night's emergencies are Dylan Stephens, Finnbar Maley and Brynn Teakle.
