North Melbourne heads to the Barossa Valley this weekend to take on the third-placed Gold Coast Suns.

The Roos will be wanting to put a disappointing Round 4 outing behind them with a second win for the year, but they'll need to put an end to the Suns' unbeaten start in order to so.

The opposition

One of the form sides of the competition, Gold Coast has stormed out of the blocks in 2025 to claim a 3-0 record.

The Suns secured the four points against Adelaide last time out, edging out the visitors by a solitary point at People First Stadium.

Recruit Dan Rioli starred off half-back with 26 disposals, as did Touk Miller in the midfield and at half-forward with 24 touches and a goal.

A win on Saturday against the Kangaroos would see the Queensland-based club go 4-0 for the first time in its history - a feat it will be eager to achieve as they continue to hunt for a maiden finals berth.

Last time we met

The Kangaroos recorded a pulsating 13.9 (87) to 12.11 (83) win over the Suns when the sides last met in Round 17, 2024.

Nick Larkey and Brynn Teakle combined for five goals, while Harry Sheezel and Luke Davies-Uniacke each racked up 30+ disposals and booted a goal.
