North Melbourne has made five changes to its line-up as the club prepares to celebrate its VFL/AFL Centenary against the Western Bulldogs on Thursday night.

High-flying forwards Zane Duursma and Finnbar Maley return to the team for the match at Marvel Stadium, along with midfielders Will Phillips and Bailey Scott.

Cooper Harvey has also been named to make his season debut after impressing in the VFL as a half-back in recent weeks.

George Wardlaw (concussion), Jack Darling (groin), Luke Parker (ribs) and Luke McDonald (shoulder) have all been forced out of the side that fell to Hawthorn last weekend, while Zac Fisher (managed) will also miss.

Duursma, Scott, Phillips, Harvey and Robert Hansen jnr have been named on the interchange bench, with one of the five to be named substitute an hour before Thursday night's first bounce at 7.30pm AEST.

Kallan Dawson, Callum Coleman-Jones and Zac Banch are the three emergencies.

Fans are urged to be in their seats by 6.45pm to witness Thursday night's pre-game spectacular, where past and present club legends will come together to honour 100 years of North Melbourne in the VFL/AFL.
