North Melbourne defender Toby Pink has signed a one-year contract extension, staying with the Kangaroos until at least the end of the 2026 season.
Pink arrived at Arden Street as a delisted free agent in 2023 and has quickly become an integral part of the club’s defensive unit.
His journey back to AFL football is a testament to his perseverance, having previously spent three seasons on Sydney’s rookie list.
The defender's impressive form for Glenelg in 2023, where he led them to a SANFL premiership and earned a spot in the Team of the Year, ultimately paved his way back to the elite level.
The 26-year-old established himself as a key member of the backline this season and hasn't missed a game since returning to the side in Round 10.
North Melbourne head of football talent Brady Rawlings said the extension serves as proof of Pink's work ethic and determination.
"Toby’s story is a fantastic one of resilience and hard work. He earned his opportunity through sheer determination," Rawlings said.
"Toby has been a solid addition to our club since he arrived as a delisted free agent and we're excited to see him continue to grow and contribute to our future."
