They came bleary-eyed after Saturday night's Grand Final, streaming out of the newly-opened Arden train station across from North Melbourne's traditional home.
They came despite the rain that had lashed Arden St all Sunday morning.
But the Kangaroos faithful came in their numbers on Sunday, decked out in royal blue and white to welcome the back-to-back AFLW premiers.
Fireworks lit up the overcast sky as captain Jas Garner and coach Darren Crocker raised the 2025 AFLW Premiership Cup on the Arden St balcony.
They were flanked by the full premiership team, among them first-time premiership players Blaithin Bogue, Eliza Shannon, and Saturday night's Best on Ground medal winner Eilish Sheerin.
There was also Libby Birch, the game's only four-time premiership winner, and three-time winners Emma Kearney, Jenna Bruton and Kim Rennie.
A hoarse Crocker told the crowd how much their support meant to the AFLW program at the club.
"To be first to do anything is a special moment, and to be the first AFLW team to go back to back is very special," he said.

It had been a long night of celebrations for the Roos after their 40-point Grand Final win over the Lions, but they stayed to take selfies and sign autographs for members and supporters as the back-to-back flag celebrations rolled on.
