North Melbourne has landed former Tiger Thomson Dow ahead of the 2026 VFL season.
A classy midfielder, Dow played 45 AFL games for Richmond across his six-year stint at Punt Road.
"We are thrilled to announce the signing of Thomson from the Richmond Football Club," VFL head coach Adam Marcon said.
"He comes to us with a really strong reputation and AFL experience that will be invaluable to our group.
"He will be a strong presence for us through the midfield with his run and clearance work and we look forward to seeing him in the blue and white next year."
Marcon and the Kangaroos have also retained the services of 2025 John Law medallist Darcy Macpherson as well as best and fairest runner-up Matthew Keast.
Both played key roles for the reserves side during their debut campaigns at North Melbourne last season.
"Darcy has had a significant impact on the VFL program and club in just a year," Marcon said.
"This impact is best displayed by winning the John Law Medal, being the VFL captain in 2025 and now integrating full-time into our AFL program as a development coach.
"Darcy will continue to play within our VFL team so that he can continue to aid the development of our AFL forward group and VFL-listed players.
"Matthew was a key pillar of our midfield group in 2025 and we are stoked to have him back on board in 2026.
"His willingness to play his role led him to a second-place finish in the John Law Medal and be rewarded as our best clubman.
"We look forward to what 'Keasty' can do next season."
The 2026 VFL season will commence the weekend of March 21-22, in line with Round 2 of the AFL season.
