Defender Charlie Comben will return to North Melbourne's line-up for Saturday's clash with Geelong at GMHBA Stadium.
Comben proved his fitness during the week after missing the Kangaroos' Round 7 match against Greater Western Sydney due to illness.
He replaces fellow backman Toby Pink, who has been omitted.
Pink, Tom Blamires and Jacob Konstanty are the Roo's three emergencies.
The Kangaroos will wear their Gather Round guernsey on Saturday for the second time this season.
The match at GMHBA Stadium is scheduled to start at 4.35pm AEST.
