North Melbourne will be eager to bounce back from a poor showing against Fremantle when they meet West Coast for a second time this season on Saturday.
Round 14, North Melbourne v West Coast
When: Saturday, June 13 at 2.15pm AWST (4.15pm AEST)
Where: Optus Stadium, WA
How to watch: Foxtel, Kayo Sports
The opposition
It's been a competitive recent stretch for West Coast, who have won two of their past four games, with their two losses in that period coming by margins of just 10 and seven points.
Tom McCarthy (31 disposals, 11 marks) and Harley Reid (25 disposals, seven clearances) were standouts in their Round 13 clash with Port Adelaide, while Willem Duursma continued to impress with a goal from 23 touches.
The Eagles sit 16th after 13 rounds and will head into Saturday with confidence, having beaten the Kangaroos by 17 points earlier this year.
However, they’ll be without in-form young defender Reuben Ginbey, who suffered a quad injury against the Power.

Strong form at reserves level could see Cooper Harvey called up for the Kangaroos. The forward-turned-backman has been prolific in VFL coach Adam Marcon’s side and collected 22 possessions and five intercepts against Tasmania on Saturday.
Josh Goater is another rebounding defender in the mix and is fresh off a 21-possession performance.
Since returning from a groin injury, Robert Hansen jnr has impressed in the VFL, and could be considered if senior coach Alastair Clarkson looks to shake things up.
Hansen jnr followed up his 32-disposal outing against Gold Coast with 25 touches, six intercepts and a goal in Hobart against Tasmania to raise his hand for a season debut.
What the coach has said
North Melbourne senior coach Alastair Clarkson post-match v Fremantle: "Fremantle were good and we were dreadful. Perhaps you have a little bit of shame because we want to come over here and be putting on a better performance than we did today. That sat us on the back foot early in terms of contest and we never really recovered from it."
Last time we met
The Roos will be looking for revenge on Saturday afternoon, after going down to the Eagles by 17 points in Round 2.
North Melbourne was dominant early, building a 30-point lead midway through the second quarter on the back of a strong outing from Nick Larkey (six goals, six marks) and some clinical conversion off West Coast's turnovers.
But the Eagles, driven by Harley Reid and Elliot Yeo through the midfield, turned the game on its head with an eight-goal third quarter to wrest back control.
The Roos fought hard in the final term but couldn't bridge the gap, going down 15.4 (94) to 17.9 (111) in a game they'll feel they let slip.
