North Melbourne will need to find a replacement for suspended forward Paul Curtis ahead of Sunday's match-up with Richmond at the MCG.
Curtis' three-match ban for rough conduct against West Coast was upheld at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night, meaning he'll miss the Roos' games against the Tigers, Essendon and Port Adelaide.
Mid-season draftee Ollie Griffin (three goals, 11 disposals) and livewire forward Lachy Dovaston (two goals, 10 disposals) both hit the scoreboard in the club's VFL draw with St Kilda at Arden Street Oval and could be in the frame for a call-up.
While not a like-for-like change, young gun Finn O'Sullivan is expected to return to the team if he can make it through main training without any issues following his concussion prior to Round 13.
Defender Riley Hardeman will also be pushing to make his return from the concussion he suffered against Fremantle.
Robert Hansen jnr continued his impressive form at VFL level, winning 32 disposals, eight marks and a goal against St Kilda. Bailey Scott notched 29 possessions and seven inside 50s to throw his name into the mix for an AFL season debut.
Josh Goater is also starting to find form. The backman was one of North Melbourne's top performers against the Saints, winning 24 touches and 12 intercepts to build on his 21 disposals against Tasmania in Round 11.
Fellow defender Aidan Corr pushed his case for a call-up, gathering 26 touches and 12 marks at Arden Street Oval, while Callum Coleman-Jones was dominant in midfield, finishing with 22 disposals, 22 hitouts and a game-high 10 clearances.
