Midfield star Jenna Bruton is set to return to action as the Kangaroos prepare for their final tune-up before launching their AFLW premiership defence.
Bruton, who starred in November's AFLW Grand Final win over Brisbane, has recovered from the left hamstring injury that has sidelined her for the club's pre-season match simulations.
Bruton is expected to play in the team's intraclub match at Arden St on Saturday.
The 9.30am intraclub will be the Roos' last competitive hitout before their Round 1 double-header against Geelong at Marvel Stadium on Saturday, August 15.

BUY TICKETSSenior physiotherapist Billy Williams said former captain Emma Kearney (hamstring) remains a chance of being available for the Kangaroos' season opener.
"Emma is closing in on a return to matches very soon, and we will look to make a call on her availability for Round 1 over the next week," Williams said.
Defender Nicole Bresnehan is on track for a potential comeback between Rounds 4-6 from the ACL injury she suffered last season.
"Nicole is also back participating in training with the main group," Williams said.
"We want her to complete a body of work in full training, before having her up for selection."
