He's been one of the great success stories of a long list of players who've graduated from the rookie list, and in 2013 Aaron Mullett has taken his game to a new level.

Having played just nine games in his first two seasons at the club, not many people would have expected the the 21-year-old to have shown such rapid improvement.

Mullett has lined up in every game this year, and averaged close to 20 possessions across half-back. He's also become a handy goal-kicker, with 13 to his name.

With that in mind, it's no surprise he's been named in AFL.com.au's under-23 All-Australian team, with vice-captain Jack Ziebell named on the bench.

The pair are among a raft of exciting up-and-comers at North, and many would have considered Ben Cunnington unlucky not to be in the side as well.
