The AFL has today confirmed the fixture for 2026 VFLW preliminary finals.
Two-time reigning premier North Melbourne Werribee and Collingwood meet at Arden Street Oval in the second preliminary final in a rematch of the 2025 VFLW Grand Final.
North Melbourne Werribee claimed a six-point win when the sides met in last year’s premiership decider and have won both home and away encounters against the Magpies this year by a combined total of nine points.
The Kangaroos earned direct entry into preliminary final after finishing the home and away season in second spot, while the Magpies defeated the Western Bulldogs by one point in the first elimination final.
The two preliminary final winners will advance to the 2026 VFLW Grand Final at Ikon Park on Sunday, September 20, which will feature as a double-header with the 2026 Smithy's VFL Grand Final.

The higher placed team on the VFLW ladder at the conclusion of the home and away season will host elimination and preliminary finals.
The 2026 VFLW Grand Final will be played at Ikon Park on Sunday, September 20 as a double-header with the 2026 Smithy's VFL Grand Final.
