Three-time Richmond premiership player Kane Lambert has been appointed as North Melbourne’s new head of development.
Lambert joins the club following development coaching and performance roles at Richmond and West Coast.
His new role at Arden St will see him responsible for driving the development plans of North Melbourne players and coaches.
As a player, Lambert was a driving force of Richmond’s premiership three-peat in 2017, '19 and '20.
North Melbourne GM of football Todd Viney said Lambert would be a welcome addition to the club’s football department.
"We’re thrilled to have another quality person like Kane join our program," Viney said.
"As a player, Kane showed all the qualities of the type of athlete we are trying to develop at North Melbourne - hard-working, professional and team-first.
"In our conversations leading up to his appointment, his passion for helping people achieve their best came through loud and clear.
"He will complement the staff and players we already have at the club and he will help drive us forward."
