Nicole Bresnehan (calf) is a week away from making her return to play, while fellow defender Emma Kearney continues to progress in her hamstring rehab.
Bresnehan hasn’t made an appearance for North Melbourne since Round 1 of last season, with a torn ACL and a calf strain keeping the 29-year-old away from the action.
“Nicole is feeling confident and moving well,” senior physiotherapist Billy Williams said.
“Given she has had a considerable time away from the main group, we want to build out her team-training volume over this week to have her up for selection for Round 11.
As for Kearney, her early symptoms have recovered, and she’s started completing team-based gym work and rehab exercises.
"Emma will look to start on-field running at controlled speeds over the next week as she continues to recover," Williams said.
The former captain is 3-5 weeks away from a potential comeback.
