Brent Harvey is free to play this weekend if he accepts a reprimand for striking Port Adelaide's Chad Wingard.

The Match Review Panel's finding were as follows:
Brent Harvey, North Melbourne, has been charged with a level two striking offence against Chad Wingard, Port Adelaide, during the third quarter of the round eight match between North Melbourne and Port Adelaide, played at AAMI Stadium on Saturday May 19, 2012.

In summary, he can accept a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record with an early plea.

Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Port Adelaide Football Club, the incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a level two offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction. He has no existing good or bad record. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record.

Lindsay Thomas can accept a $900 sanction for making an obscene gesture.

Incidents involving Jack Ziebell and Scott Thompson have resulted in the Kangaroos' players being cleared of any wrongdoing.
