IN-DOUBT North Melbourne trio Daniel Wells, Nathan Grima and Lachlan Hansen look set to play in the Roos' elimination final against West Coast this Sunday after getting through the club's final Melbourne training session unscathed.

Midfielder Wells hit top speed - or close enough to it -regularly during North's 80-minute session at Aegis Park on Thursday and did not appear hampered by the calf muscle he strained against Essendon in round 20.

Wells' silky kicking skills did not appear to have gathered any rust in his three-round layoff either, with the reigning club champion regularly hitting targets in windy conditions.

Key defender Grima (hamstring tendonitis) and key forward Hansen (blurred vision) also trained well during the session that included full-ground match simulation.

Defender Sam Wright was a late withdrawal from North's win over Greater Western Sydney last Saturday with a virus, but also completed Thursday's training session strongly.
