A mad Kangaroos’ supporter, Madison’s favourite player is Drew Petrie and she likes to use her time at Auskick to practice kicking goals just like the big forward.
“He’s such a good player and I like watching him the most when we go to games,” little Madison told kangaroos.com.au.
“I love goal kicking practice so that’s my favourite part about Auskick.”
Madison is a student at St Michael’s Primary School in North Melbourne and attends Auskick every week with her brother Lincoln.
As North Melbourne’s Auskicker of the Week, Madison and her family received tickets to the Round 7 match against the Bulldogs.
Over 200 kids participated in Auskick on Saturday with most of the families taking the opportunity to hang around at Aegis Park for the club’s open training session straight after.
North Melbourne Auskick is run by the Flemington Junior Football Club. Rgistrations are still being welcomed for boys and girls aged between 6 and 12.
