"I’m pumped and you guys should be pumped as well."

Rhyce Shaw has urged his players to "adapt to win", as North prepares for its round one clash against St Kilda on Sunday.

In an unprecedented move for the league, games are set to played in front of empty stadiums for at least this week.

"It’s fantastic that we can still go out there and play, and we’ve got the opportunity to play and to win," Shaw said on Monday morning.

"You can adapt and cope and get through, or you can adapt to win, and winning every day and winning every session … winning every moment. That’s what it’s all about."

Earlier, GM of Football Brady Rawlings spoke of the importance of continuing to engage with the club's members in a difficult time.

"Given we are not going to have any supporters and members at games, we want to give them an experience. We want to provide content as best we can for our members," he said.
