As it did in 2010, North Melbourne will play in the final home and away game of the season with a twilight fixture against the Tigers.

The AFL announced the final fixture for round 24 on Tuesday, with five games to played on Saturday and just two, Port Adelaide/Melbourne and North/Richmond scheduled for Sunday.

Last year the Kangaroos played Melbourne in the final game, but there could be far more on the line this time around with the top eight far from set in stone.

St Kilda currently occupy eighth spot, but just one game separates the teams from 8th-11th. The Demons are two points behind North Melbourne with a game in hand, while Essendon is also in the mix despite a tough run home.
