Every Wednesday, until footy returns, we'll be heading into the archive to recap some of the great games throughout North Melbourne's rich history.

This week, we take you back to 1993, and a clash against Collingwood at Victoria Park.

When Denis Pagan's team travelled to Collingwood in Round 10, 1993, the ledger stood at 11 wins, one draw, 47 losses.

It was first versus second, as the Roos looked to defy the odds in enemy territory and continue their outstanding start to the season.

They'd come up against a star-studded Magpies' side, featuring the likes of Gavin Brown, Tony Shaw, Peter Daicos, and a young forward having a huge impact in front of goal, Saverio Rocca.

In front of nearly 30,000 one-eyed Collingwood fans, North was hoping to cause a huge upset.
