Swans' co-captain Jarrad McVeigh has been cleared of a rough conduct charge and is available to play against North on Sunday.

McVeigh was cited following a first quarter clash with the Crows' Matthew Jaensch, but cleared by the AFL's Match Review Panel of any wrongdoing.

The incident was assessed as follows:
The match day report against the Sydney Swans’ Jarrad McVeigh for rough conduct against Adelaide’s Matthew Jaensch in the first quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed.

The ball is handballed towards Jaensch who fumbles to collect the ball, McVeigh makes high contact with Jaensch in an attempted bump.

After viewing all the available footage, speaking with the umpire who laid the report and receiving a medical report from the Adelaide Football Club, it was the view of the panel that the force used by McVeigh was below that required to constitute a reportable offence.
