The Huddle’s ‘Hop On’ program connects young migrant families and the community through sport. It’s run in local housing estates by trained staff, volunteers, state sporting associations and Victoria Police for primary school aged children in the North West.

It’s the first time that the public can decide which community projects will win 2015 Medibank Community Fund grants and it would be a boost which would benefit The Huddle greatly.

The Huddle has already edged out a record number of applications to make it to the shortlist. To be eligible, projects had to meet the criteria of encouraging healthy eating, physical activity and greater community connectedness.

Your vote could allow The Huddle to continue its work with young migrants and refugees, enhancing social cohesion in the community.
