Only 10 days remain until North Melbourne travel to Hobart for its Round 3 match against the reining AFL premiers Sydney and tickets are already close to selling out.

Less than 800 General Admission tickets remain and the club is urging all members and supporters to snap them up or risk missing out on the highly anticipated blockbuster.

North CEO Carl Dilena is predicting the match will be the best game the city has seen so far.

“Last year we had an incredible atmosphere at both games in Hobart and we know this season will be even better,” Dilena told NMFC.com.au.

“What better way than to kick off against the Swans.

“The home ground atmosphere was just fantastic and we have even more planned for our supporters young and old, to enjoy and make the match day experience even better.”

The team arrives in Hobart on the Friday before the game and will hold an open training session at Blundstone Arena with all fans and supporters invited to attend from 11:00am.  

“Our entire club is committed to embracing and engaging our members and since the people of Tassie obviously don’t get the opportunity to attend our regular open training sessions at Aegis Park in Melbourne, we’re brining training to them instead.

“We don’t often train interstate so this is a fantastic opportunity for families to come down, meet the players, get photos and autographs the day before the big game,” Dilena added.

The players will also stay in Hobart on Sunday to hold an exclusive Kanga’s Kids Club Clinic at Blundstone Arena win, lose or draw.

“These big superclinics are only held once or twice a year, usually in Melbourne, so it’s a pretty special opportunity for lots of junior Roos to get out and enjoy the day with the players.

“It is also unique to have all the players who were a part of the game the day before, conducting a clinic so it certainly will be a brilliant experience.”
