Young Kangaroos Riley Hardeman and Finn O'Sullivan are progressing well as they complete concussion protocols which will sideline them for Saturday's game against West Coast.
Hardeman suffered a head knock in Saturday's second quarter against Fremantle and was ruled out of the game with concussion.
North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White said Hardeman had pulled up well and completed his first run session on Tuesday.
"He will work through the stages of the AFL (concussion) protocol across the next few days and reintegrate with group training again next week," White said.
O'Sullivan, who missed the Dockers match after an accidental head collision during training last week, will again be sidelined this weekend as he completes the AFL's mandated 12-day concussion protocol.
"He is progressing well through the stages and will return to full training next week again," White said.
Youngster River Stevens (knee) is available for selection this weekend after rejoining unrestricted group training.
"River has now cleared his end stage rehab markers and completed a high-loading session at the weekend," White said.
Callum Coleman-Jones (concussion) could also be set for a return to play if he continues to progress well during contact sessions at training this week.
"Callum has been under more conservative concussion management which entails some more in-depth hurdles to clear," White said.
Midfielder Tom Powell (groin) has stepped up his training intensity as he targets a return from a groin injury.
"Tom put in a good week of loading last week where he is starting to increase his running speeds and intensity of training," White said.
"As he increases his loading we will ensure that his groin is coping well before he re-integrates into group training once again and that his symptoms are minimal."
Luke Urquhart (knee) will also be closely assessed to see how his symptoms respond to increased training loads, White said.
"Once we feel like he is tolerating his training well with minimal symptoms, he will start to dip back into group training once again and extend from there."
